We visited Norman and Joyce at Christmas, which was wonderful. Norman told us a number of very interesting stories about growing up with 4 brothers, an eccentric father and a hard working Mother.

Donald has trawled through the archives and come up with some great photos which he has posted on Flicks under the title “Nostalgia”. There are also some other great photos in the album. (Of Leningrad in particular. He’s triggered me to go off and get my St Petersburg photos when Auv and I went there to visit Clare a few years ago). Mum sent me this photos a while ago. I love it! She did tell me where it was taken but I can’t remember. Either Coolatin or South East I think. Can someone reply and let me know! I would have loved to see this game! I wonder if they got any runs!!!

Hi there. In the early 20th century, 5 brothers were born in County Sligo to Mammie and Thomas James Lush. Now many years later, their children, grand-children and great-grand-children are spread around Ireland, the United Kingdom and indeed further afield (New Zealand in my case!). I have heard many stories about Gerry (my Dad), Harry, Norman, Oswald and Jim so I have decided to set up this website so the members of the Lush family can share their stories, keep in contact and have a bit of fun.
