My name is John Lush. I grew up in Ireland and now live in New Zealand. As well as my beautiful wife and wonderful son I have a loving family who helped make me the person I am today!
In the early 20th century, 5 brothers were born in County Sligo to Mammie and Thomas James Lush. Now many years later, their children, grand-children and great-grand-children are spread around Ireland, the United Kingdom and indeed further afield (New Zealand in my case!). I have heard many stories about Gerry (my Dad), Harry, Norman, Oswald and Jim so I have decided to set up this website so the members of the Lush family can share their stories, keep in contact and have a bit of fun.
Please, please, please contribute and comment on any of the stories, photos or updates I have posted. If you would like the ability to also post new items please let me know and I will set you up. I hope this will be a great way of reminiscing, remembering great times, keeping in touch now and in the future.
I will probably also make some mistakes so please do correct me, and if there is anything I have posted here you would like me to remove I will do so straight away.
