We visited Norman and Joyce at Christmas, which was wonderful. Norman told us a number of very interesting stories about growing up with 4 brothers, an eccentric father and a hard working Mother.

I have found your website interesting because I feel we may have a family connection.
I distinctly remember Harry Lush visiting us in New Zealand in about 1979-80 though I’ll have to look through my photo album to be sure.
My Grandmother was Frances Lush.

That’s right! Harry (and Norman & Joyce too I think) visited New Zealand and met a number of the NZ Lush’s (who descend from a brother of my ancestors), many of whom settled in the Otago region.
We too visited the Plunkets ; wasn’t your lovely mother called Naire. She was the one who knew SO much about the Lush connection and was making a family tree when we were there in 1990. We had a memorable visit, seeing the Boulders nearby etc and we remember that Naire (spelling??) was keen on playing cards! We live in Somerset, England.
